  1. This is the source code repository for RE2, a regular expression library.
  2. For documentation about how to install and use RE2,
  3. visit https://github.com/google/re2/.
  4. The short version is:
  5. make
  6. make test
  7. make install
  8. make testinstall
  9. Building RE2 requires Abseil (https://github.com/abseil/abseil-cpp)
  10. to be installed on your system. Building the testing for RE2 requires
  11. GoogleTest (https://github.com/google/googletest) and Benchmark
  12. (https://github.com/google/benchmark) to be installed as well.
  13. There is a fair amount of documentation (including code snippets) in
  14. the re2.h header file.
